About Me

Hi, I’m Ashton!

I’ve been around horses my entire life—growing up on a Friesian horse farm and working with well-known Friesian horse trainers for years. But as every equestrian knows, once you get a taste of horses, you can’t get enough. I dove into driving, dressage, western and english, even showing American Miniature Horses regionally!

After gaining my Bachelor’s degree in Equine Business from Cazenovia College, I went to work in corporate marketing and learned a lot!

I specializing in corporate marketing and strategy for over 10 years and have turned my skills toward the horse industry.

Utilizing my experience in corporate marketing, I implement content strategies for equine business owners at an affordable cost.

I know it can be hard to find the right person to write for your business and craft the right message for your audience (especially with equine knowledge!), but don’t worry, I’m here to help!

What's the Process?

Step 1: Discovery Call

The first step is to hop on a discovery call so we can learn about your business, project details, where you need help, and your goals. This call lets both of us see if we are a good fit for the project!

We also gather important details to create a custom content marketing package designed to meet your business needs.

Step 2: The Proposal

After we get the project details, I create a custom proposal for your project. The proposal will include: a summary of our call, details of the project, proposed scope of work, timeline, and investment.

I require a 50% deposit when the proposal is accepted to start the project.

Step 3: Onboarding

After the proposal has been accepted, we will begin the onboarding process. You will receive a series of emails with an onboarding form and a list of assets. These can be submitted through the form and passwords through LastPass.

Step 4: Content Creation

Now the work begins! I draft all copy and graphics in a Google doc for easy sharing and updates.

Step 5: Content Revision & Approval

You will receive a link to the proposed copy for review and approval. We do not post or publish any content without client approval.

Step 6: Invoicing

I invoice for the next month at the end of each month. For example, you would receive an invoice on October 31st for November content.

Step 7: Communication

And last, but not least. I respond to all client emails within 48 hours and do not check emails over the weekend. Who really wants to spend time on emails when they could be outside on the weekends?
